Frame Options

Frames can be manufactured in MDF, softwood, or hardwood species. For hardwood frames, we first assess:

• Availability: Ensuring the species is obtainable.

• Density Requirements: Confirming it meets the required fire rating.

Screen Designs

Our screens are typically supplied based on the customer’s design but require our approval to ensure compliance with fire regulations. Customisation options include:

• Fully Assembled: Ideal for smaller screens.

• Part Assembled: Large screens are offered in sections for on-site assembly to ease handling and transport.

• Unglazed Screens: Supplied unglazed to prevent damage during transit. The glass is delivered separately and clearly labelled for easy identification on-site.

Door Frames
Frames are carefully processed to meet customer specifications, including:

• Cutting and Trenching

• Drilling and Fitting with Intumescent Strips (if required)

• Recessing for Ironmongery

• Permanent or Loose-Pinned Door Stops: Loose-pinned stops can work loose during transit, so we offer an alternative method with disposable stops for added safety.

Door Hanging
Our dedicated team ensures every doorset operates flawlessly by checking:

• Smooth operation of hinges, locks, and closures.

• Gap tolerances between the door leaf and frame.

Labelling

As members of BWF Certifire and BM TRADA Q-Mark schemes, our doorsets are labelled with essential fire rating details, manufacturer information, and traceability data. These labels must not be removed to maintain certification integrity.
